SANGRIA! We are going to be drinking and making Sangria for the next couple of weeks and I am excited to delve into Summer drinks. Originally, I was going to be covering mint juleps, but things got a little out of hand in terms of timing. The Kentucky Derby is in early May and the total intention was to start drinking my juleps in mid-April and have plenty of content ready in time for the Kentucky Derby. Well, things happened and our Chow Mein series ended up being scheduled for May. Originally, I thought … fine! I am going to cover the mint julep anyways. Soon enough, I just decided enough is enough and my wife REALLY wanted me to cover Sangria. This one’s for you, babe. Sangria.
So, for the next several weeks, we are going to look at Sangria. I have had some experience with this drink but really haven’t looked that far. The first widespread exposure I had to the drink was our trip to Spain a few years back. That trip was such a great time! We went to Madrid and Seville. Madrid was ok, but Seville was so beautiful. I absolutely loved Seville. We both did.
I am sure I will recount that trip enough over the next few weeks as we learn about Sangria.Hopefully, over the next several weeks we will learn about the history of Sangria, learn about the ingredients of Sangria, and make some spectacular drinks along the way! So, if you are interested in Sangria or enjoy the content you have seen here, please take a second to subscribe to our email!
