I thought I would open up this roundup with a simply delectable adult dessert! Nicky mixes up a boozy dessert that looks absolutely wonderful. Also, if you read the post, she admits that she may have had a few herself when she took these shots. One thing about being a recipe developer is that sometimes you have to just suck it up and drink some dranks. lol. What a sacrifice, huh? So when the kids are off to bed, think about making one of these!
Just having completed a margarita series, I have become quite the lover of Cointreau, so I know how wonderful the drink can be. This Cointreau Rose Cocktail looks like a fruity mix of awesome and tasty fun. Check out this tasty and spectacular recipe.
Spicing it up a bit with some habanero peppers in a cocktail. Also, Molly switches it up a bit and adds some grilled watermelon. If you haven’t had grilled watermelon yet, it is definitely worth a try. This is a robust and interesting cocktail that has a lot of Summer flavor. No, Fall is not quite here so you still can take advantage of these nummy adult Summer flavors.
Look at this beautiful chicken that Susie is cooking up! I don’t know about you, but I love just a little bit of that funk in my cheese and goat cheese starts to get into that territory. Great way to scare away some kids, but goat cheese and sun dried tomatoes sound absolutely wonderful to me. So, you had mac and cheese last night. Treat yourself tonight with this crispy chicken with goat cheese and sun dried tomatoes.
A little bit of sweet and a touch of sour goes into this adult cocktail that Elaine from Dishes Delish cooked up. Cherries don’t really last long in my house, so before they get gobbled up, make sure to make this drink. Not only does she give the recipe for this specific cocktail, but Elaine also discusses making cherry infused vodka.
Bacon Wrapped Pork Loin Stuffed with Herbed Goat Cheese, Spinach, & Mushrooms from Monday Is Meatloaf
Goat Cheese? Spinach? Mushrooms? This all sounds like an adult meal to me. But then again, you wrap it in bacon and it becomes everybody’s favorite, right? LOL. Well, I love a bit of bacon and this loin looks like a great meal. Tina says that Monday is for meatloaf. Well, Tuesday and the rest of them can have meals like this one! (save some leftover meatloaf for lunch, though. ok?)
