Here we are at the end of another series. We have learned so much about the margarita cocktail and really have been able to explore this drink. Not only did we get to try a whole bunch of margarita inspired recipes, but we also learned a boatload about tequila and the history of the margarita. I really hope you enjoyed following along!

Usually, we like to do a recap of all the posts we covered and here is that list:

Biggest Takeaway – Tequila is Hard

One of the biggest things I learned is just how long it takes to make tequila. The agave plant takes several years to grow to maturity and if it blooms… it dies. While I learned many things in this series, I think I found a new appreciation for tequila and tequila producers. Not only does agave take a long time to grow, there are only so many places that it can even grow. So, the spirit takes a long time to make and the agave plant prefers a specific climate.

All in all, I am very pleased with how this margarita series turned out and I hope you enjoyed the reading AND drinking! Stay tuned, as our next series is starting and you will want to find out what we dive deep into next! Oh, don’t forget to subscribe to get updates via email!
