While Summer means Mojito, in my part of the world, it also means raspberries! London Brazil’s (great name, right?) Mojito recipe variation mashes up the flavors of summer into this great recipe!
A lady after my own heart…. making a Mojito PACKED with sugar. 🙂 This a small twist on the Carribean favorite. Her shoutout to Jimmy Buffet’s alcohol line is sure to put a person into a tropical mood.
Really, not that much of a stretch from the original, as pineapples also emote feelings of vacation and a Caribbean breeze. Heck, a straw poking out of the top of a pineapple always looks like vacation. This recipe doesn’t go that far, but sure creates a that breeze. This Mojito recipe variation twist on the traditional Mojito is totally worth a try!
Whaaaaat? Tomatillo in a Mojito? As a disclaimer, I have not made this, but think it looks super interesting. I have the feeling that the tartness of the tomatillo will play very nicely with the sweetness of rum and the sugar. This is going on my to-try list. I don’t buy tomatillo’s often, but usually end up with a good sized batch once a year.
Gonna make this, for sure.
Finally, a dessert. The mojito really is a cocktail that easily translates to desserts. Lime, mint, and sugar all are great ingredients. Monika even slips a bit of rum into this dish.
