Scandinavian Klubb Dumplings

Klubb is a  Scandinavian comfort food that goes by many names. You might find it called Pault, Pult, Klubb, Klub, Korppkakor, Raspeball, kumle, komle, kompe, or potetball. Depends on where you are from and your family's traditions.


– 4 potatoes, peeled and shredded – 3 cups flour – 1 teaspoon salt – 1 egg – Approximately 4 ounces ham, cut into 8-12 cubes – 5 TBSP melted butter – Salt and pepper 

Bring large pot of salted water to hard simmer.

Add flour, egg, and salt to grated potatoes.

Mix well.

Wrap dough around cubes of ham and make 8-12 dumplings.

Simmer dumplings for 45 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

Remove with slotted spoon.

Serve with butter, salt, green onions,  and pepper
