Description

A refreshing homemade honey lemonade made with just lemons, honey, and water. Naturally sweetened, easy to make, and perfect for summer.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)
  • 4 cups cold water

Instructions

  1. Warm the honey: In a small saucepan, combine the honey with 1 cup of the water. Warm over low heat, stirring until the honey dissolves. Don’t boil—just enough to blend.
  2. Juice the lemons: While the honey water cools, juice your lemons. Strain out the seeds, but pulp is up to you!
  3. Mix it all together: In a large pitcher, combine the honey mixture, lemon juice, and remaining 3 cups of cold water. Stir well.
  4. Chill & serve: Taste and adjust for sweetness. Pop it in the fridge or serve right away over ice. Garnish with lemon slices or fresh mint if you’re feeling fancy.

Notes

  • Increase honey to make a sweeter lemonade
  • Roll your lemons on a table with your hand to help loosen the most liquid before juicing.
  • Use fresh lemons. Bottled juice works in a pinch, but fresh juice makes a big difference.
  • If you’re using crystallized honey, just warm it a bit before mixing.
