Description

This fresh grapefruit Paloma combines blanco tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and simple syrup for a bright, refreshing cocktail that comes together in minutes.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 ounces blanco tequila
  • 4 ounces fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1 1/2 ounces fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce simple syrup
  • Grapefruit wedge, lime wedge, grapefruit peel, or lime peel, for garnish (optional)
  • Soda water or club soda, for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add the tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and simple syrup to an ice-filled cocktail shaker.
  2. Shake for about 15 seconds, until well chilled.
  3. Strain into an ice-filled highball glass.
  4. Top with soda water or club soda, if desired.
  5. Garnish with grapefruit or lime.

Notes

  • Use what you have for grapefruit, but Pink or Ruby Red grapefruit works great!
  • Make your own simple syrup to save money. It is very easy.
  • Blanco tequila keeps the cocktail bright, crisp, and citrus-forward.
